ya just take them off and keep them for the inspection, or get to know ppl that can pass your truck, i have custom mudflaps on mine cause i have spacers and cause the stock don't stick out that far, but you shouldn't have a problem with your truck, i always have my mudflaps off but i keep them in my truck just in case, but i have never had a problem with cops in the streets, they really don't care, i only put them on when i get on the freeway. And even if you do get pulled over, they will just tell you or give you fix it ticket and all you have to do is call a cop to go to your house and have them sign it. and that's all.

Don't let rules takeover your freedom :) some rules are meant to be broken :D everything is illegal and even though it looks like your doing something right its wrong in the rule/law book. heck its illegal if you don't have a front license plate but almost more then half the people don't have one in there cars. Its illegal to have any legal tint on your windows, even though they say its legal.

Fact cause 3 cops told me and my friends: everything you do to your truck/car/semi/motorcycle/etc, no matter where in the US, anything that doesn't come factory from when the car was made is illegal, intakes, mufflers, tint, tail and headlights, etc. And i heard this from 3 cops that if they want to find anything to screw you for that they can, just for having stuff like that, but they don't cause they know there cars have aftermarket stuff to and its dumb. sound stupid but its true, they weren't kidding either we got pulled over and then they chilled with us for a few minutes talking to us about rules and laws about other stuff and this ^.

They are spider trax so technically they are "adapters" and not spacers according to the tire place. B/c they have studs and don't shorten the original threads they are legal in Utah.

Taylor, I thought I'd have your load bars all wrapped up but had to stop for some family holiday committments. They are basically done except for cutting the slotted holes in the end brackets. I'll finish them up tomorrow night and you can pick them up on Tuesday.

They are BEEFY! You'll be able to carry just about anything on them. They'll easily support a RTT or just about whatever you want to put up there.

One thing you'll want to double check is the length of the bolts for the mounting brackets on your basket. The load bars are 1.5" so you'll just want to be sure that your basket mounts have bolts long enough to fit around the bars.

I had Les Schwab in Layton do the alignment after I installed my Icon UCAs and didnt like the numbers I saw on the after side. Camber I think was still out of spec. I told the guy the whole reason for the UCAs was to get the truck back were it should be. He told me they had been adjusted as much as they could be. So being a faithful TW member I jumped on here and asked around, Turns out I was right and he was a lazy moron. So since their alignments come with a 30 day guarantee, I took the truck to the Les Schwab in Roy and after ten minutes the tech came out and said it was done. Numbers were within spec and I was good to go.

I guess long story short, stay away from the Les Schwab in Layton, if you are even near it, and look at the numbers when the job is "done".

JDK, did you ever get that bumper put on?

I jumped in on that Relentless sale and got a full set of skids for the Tacoma, need to have a section of my exhaust modified/rerouted (crossover pipe), can anyone vouch for any of the local shops in Salt Lake?

They did my exhaust relocate for my skids and welded the plates for my cabmount chop.

    Talk to Fritz.

That's great, it's nice when things work out.

Take your skid in with you it will help them get some measurements.

Yeah I will definitely wait until they arrive so they can get it right the first time without the guess work. Did they do the whole body mount chop and weld? I still want to get that done even though I'm not rubbing on it, 35s will eventually find their way on this truck!
