I've got one, I think it's actually a radio shack brand? Seems to work fine. You're welcome to borrow it.

    I'm in the millcreek area.

Has anyone been on the Skyline Drive (The Skyline Drive is a high-altitude mountain road that follows the spine of the Wasatch Plateau running 80 miles or so in Sanpete County, in central Utah. Most of it is above 10,000 feet. It’s one of the highest mountain roads in Utah) lately? I'm trying to find out if it is passable yet, I read that many years there is still snow until July. I've never been on it before.

I havent been up to Skyline yet this year but my cabin isn’t far from it (we’re around 8000’-8500’) and we’re 100% clear of snow. I could see there still being snow in shaded areas though and that high up, possibly deep snow in shaded areas. Up until maybe three weeks ago, we still had more than 3’ in shaded areas and just this week we got more snow up there (it melted off the same day, but it’s still gets cold up there and gets below freezing most nights).

I just called the ranger station and she said the only area under snow is 12 Mile. I want to get on Skyline from Ephraim Canyon Road, I think 12 Mile is south of Ephraim. Do you know?

I believe you're right. I believe 12 Mile is outside of Mayfield, so south of Ephraim and south of Manti. We connect to Skyline from our cabin directly from Spring City Canyon Road.

Went in from the north (tucker) down to Fairview canyon on June 6. Kind of sloppy as it was raining but no snow.

The woman at the ranger station gave bad information. We got on the trail via Ephraim Canyon Road and went north a few miles. Got stuck, I’m grateful for my recovery boards and the three guys on UTVs with winches. 28E2B964-B936-40C7-8848-B3101F3E5FDC.jpg6B0627FC-EA87-4194-AF2E-2B531A5C7018.jpg

Did you get hung up on the skid plate or axle?

The axle. I had previously made it through another spot that was a little smaller but almost as deep. I made it through that one my hitting it at high speed. The one in the picture, was over a small hill, I had too much speed to stop, so I had to go for it.

You still can’t go very far south from the top of Ephraim. 12 Mile is at the top of Mayfield, quite a ways south of Ephraim.

I have a question. I see a lot of you take your Tacomas to Big O' in Sandy for alignments. I have aftermarket UCAs. Do you know if they will honor my request for maximum caster as possible?
