That's a pretty common one in the southeast too. As well as odd pronunciations of towns. But adding extra letters / consonant sounds to a proper name is a new one.

Are you cracking the tent windows? Could it be air trapped inside?

No, They are zipped up. It’s worth a try I suppose. It’s more like the gas shocks are bottoming out and you have to use extreme force to close it.

Guys. Rented wave runners in Heber for tomorrow. Struggling with going to jordonelle or deer creek. I’m not a boat person so haven’t been on either in a long time. Which would have better sand beaches to set up a day camp for my kids and grandkids?

Deer Creek has some nice beaches in the Day use areas. Jordanell has created some artificial sand beaches in their Day Use areas. I don't think you can go wrong either place, but when I rent machines, it is always at Deer Creek.

Been running the +3.5 kit for the last 10 years. I also have the DMZ Sua kit in the rear along with a low profile bed cage.

I did some research on black bear pass and I think I will be fine. I saw a couple videos raptors doing it. My truck is definitely narrower than a raptor.

You'll be fine, it's plenty wide. Just listen to your spotter or have your passenger keep you close to the wall if you're worried.

Thanks! From the videos I have seen, the second switchback is my only concern. And then there is one spot after the second switchback that looks narrow along the shelf road. Luckily my truck just crawls in 1st gear low range since I am a M/T and have 4:56 gears.

Probably going to get flamed over this haha.

Did a little something... Still plan on keeping my Tacoma since I have too many memories in it, but we are looking for another more family oriented adventure vehicle. Still can't actually configure it online yet, but hopefully next month I can narrow down the trim, and options. Still won't be able to order it till December.

From the recent videos from Moab and the Rubicon, I am pretty impressed with the stock bronco and 'badlands' trim. 33's, factory lockers.

There is a lot of excitement about the new Bronco. From what I’ve read, it’s seems like a hell of a capable vehicle. Hopefully, the reliability is there, which is were the Tacoma excels.

    IMO, it’s a better option than Chrysler/Fiat.

Yea, I am keeping my tacoma just for when the turbo goes out on the bronco (or both turbos for the 2.7L) .. HAHA  Also I will get my manual transmission fix by keeping my taco.

In all honesty, even the latest wranglers (JL) seem outdated with the specs/ options. The solid front axle vs. IFS debate doesn't deter me from the Bronco. I have been wheelin my Long Travel Tacoma for years. I am so used to "IFS" lines over obstacles, I am not sure how I would drive a Solid Axle without hitting it on every rock. lol. IFS tech has come along ways. Long travel Kits and extended axles aren't as expensive as they used to be.

For the bronco, I don't plan on significantly modding it like I did with my tacoma. I kind of just want to drive it stock. Maybe invest in a beefy set of skids and sliders, but just keep it stock with 33's (or 35's) and just go on adventures.

I 100% agree. The engineers for the Bronco seemed to believe that they found a good trade off with the IFS vs. the solid axle. I'm sure at the end of the day they know that most people who buy the Bronco will never take it off-road, but like the fact of knowing that if they "wanted" to, then they could.

It would be nice to have a vehicle you didn't need to mod, but was more than capable to handle whatever you wanted to throw at.

Have you ever broke one of your axles on the trail?

Nope. I would destroy the Front Diff before breaking that 4340 Axle.

I also don't have a front Locker. Now, if I had a front locker, and was trying to do something stupid like turn, or mash on the gas and get that wheel hop.. That would probably destroy the Front Diff, or break the CV birdfield, and not the axle.

I am curious if the Engineers at Ford put some sort of electronic torque limiter in the front diff since some trims come with a Front Locker. I could see people badmouthing Ford/ Bronco if people start breaking Front Differentials while having the front locker engaged. But those people will probably be running 37" tires.
