The I-15 was very slushy when I was on them about an hour ago. Take it slow and keep it in 4-wheel if you have it and you'll be fine.

I haven't drove in snowy conditions in about 6 years, but I'm headed back to Provo on Thursday. I also had a car back then so will be interesting to see how these M/T tires and my Taco handle the conditions.

    hmmm

right.... amateurs man. You guys should see these damn drivers in Vegas. It rains twice a year and they all go 40 MPH like their cars are going to slide off the road. Being from Utah I drive by going 65 and feel completely safe... although occasionally the grime can get slippery when it never ever rains, but it's never too bad.

Oh man you guys are missing out. :woot::jellydance::yay:

I live in holladay and we got about 16-18"

I have been up in the Millcreek area doing snow removal and there is about 25"up there.

It has been a fun day driving. Driving through 3-4 foot snow banks all day. Loving it.

I have to say the Duratracs rock. I have been pulling my trailer with a snow blower on all day and all most no problems.

Hey Utah members. I am going to install a full OME suspension in about 7-10 days. Is anyone interested in my stock TRD Off Road suspension? I will have a 2.25" spacer and 1" block available as well. My vehicle only has 4000 miles, and these items will at most have a few hundred more. Let me know, I would like to hook the local guys up first.

Was driving home from night skiing Thursday and some jackass in a Tacoma thought he was bullet proof. It didn't end too pretty. Looked like he was ice skating in to oncoming traffic

Got a buddy that just bought an SR5 and is thinking he may do a spacer lift (against everyone's advice)... how much are you asking for the full set up and how much for just the spacer/block combo? I'll pass this along to him for ya

Does anyone in Utah know how to fit fiberglass fenders? Would Kurt from Cruiser Outfitters be able to? If so how much would he charge?

I'm planning on getting some as my first step for long travel. But I'm nervous about fitting them and drilling holes in them.

I would give him a fair deal. I just need to figure out what that would be.
    Suggestions?

I'm sure Kurt could do them or you could go to just about any body shop. I've never fit them but I've heard that they can be a pain in the ass and take awhile which may result in the install being $$$ (hourly rates).

Yeah... I see a lot of people on here doing their own but I'm kind of skeptical about my own skill to do it. I'll do more research.
