No, not particularly. Bout 2 years ago, some in that group did a silly thing, got relentlessly made fun of for it, and then admins started purging a few of the loudest hecklers (Ben) and those guilty by association (me). Just one of those perfect storm type events. By the way, this was about 2 weeks after the whole "TacomaBeast goes to Moab" fiasco kicked off an apparent clan war between "leave no trace" minded folks and the unquestioning IG influencer apologists. The Utah 4x4 community was testy already.

    Backstory:

The apparent majority in that WTT4R group are more into the SEMA truck style if you get what I mean. Is what it is, different strokes and all, no harm. They went to a nearby offroad spot for some huge photoshoot, like 100+ trucks, and a select few got mired beyond all belief in a lake bed that anyone with an ounce of actual offroad accumen in Utah knows is a no-go in late winter. They got even more cross when a few local recovery options that are usually super helpful said "not a chance" when they learned where exactly they were stuck and what was required for recovery. Ended up having to call in a tow service with access to a snowcat tracked vehicle that could float over the mud and about four grand later, the trucks were recovered.

    As they rightly should have.

Not gonna rehash it, but I think Mateo from what I gathered talking to him was a nice enough guy, whole crew didn't know any better (but also didnt think it through), got deservedly flamed for the actions of his camera/hype guys that did the carving.

What I will say though, after the dust settled and he got set straight, is that he managed to generate/organize a ridiculous sum of money to give to a few offroad/leave no trace type groups. I can't remember which ones, but it was addressed at the 2019 UTOR expo. As upset as some were, there was some reconciliation at least for me when those details were shared.

What nobody wants to discuss however was the actions of the @jberry813 fanclub crowd!

Their statement still has yet to be published on their website! www.jberry813fanclub.com

yeah. I heard that he tried hard to make things right and started really pushing on the whole "leave no trace" idea pretty hard afterwards. Kudos to him for owning it and working hard on fixing his image.

I think they have them at Cracker Barrel but haven’t checked. Not like in grocery stores and elsewhere in Tn.

Eh, not into either of those. Lol. I’ll be alright with that.

What building were you in at rockledge? I’m trying to decide between building 4, 3rd floor or building 8, 2nd floor.

    Not much stock left.
Four Roses single barrel would be a definite plus. Willing to negotiate a fair premium for it. :D
