I never liked G wagons until I saw the 4x4² model in person. It's hard to fathom just how massive it is ... makes a Raptor look small.

Edit: Doug knows how to how show it

I didn't like them either until my Wife insisted on test driving one. Even the standard G is pretty awesome to drive. We own one now...

Also, there's 4x4 squared in the Upper Aves somewhere. I've seen it driven around by a very fancy looking middle aged woman.

My buddy in LA says he sees them a bunch and they’re always being driven by women. Guess I like a girl car then :goingcrazy:

I don't understand why someone that doesn't off-road would want one (I know it's a status thing). It's very much a tank and drives like one. Ours now has 33s (no lift or trimming needed), Fox remote resis, front and rear lockers (stock), front and rear solid axles (stock). I love it and drive it more than the Taco now.

Guess I like a girl car too... though that girl car is more capable than almost any other vehicle on the road.

I think you're at least a decade late and a million dollars short. Just like Park City or Aspen or any of several great places the filthy rich have taken over and normal paychecks have a hard time competeing. Or maybe your wallet's fat?

Mad props for using a G-wagen as intended before the gucci gang got ahold of it as a status symbol. I'm only used to seeing them stateside on Rodeo Dr when I was living in LA.

Def need to bring it to the trailhead next time so I can drool over it.

We were contacted late yesterday by the state website and directed to fill out a bunch of on-line forms, which resulted in an appointment to get the Covid shot this morning at 11. We got there and other than the several people doing paperwork and administering shots... we only saw three other people. We expected lines out the door and we spent twenty minutes, fifteen waiting to see if we had a reaction.

I would actually love to take it wheeling and see how it does compared to some modded Tacomas.

Are you in healthcare, education or over the age of 75? How’d you get the vaccine?

I’m wondering when it will be available to the general public.

Well, we only saw three other people, but one was there by himself and probably thirty or less. Go to utah.gov and you'll see something to click on for vaccines. We signed up thru Nomi Health, which was kind of a pain in the ass because it was a lot of questions, but there are other alternatives. I doubt we had to answer all the questions asked, and we didn't give them our Social Security numbers even though they asked.

The state has opened it up to 65 and up... but it sure looked to me like they weren't getting a lot of takers in Lehi. I'd bet that you can get one if you want one.

Fender flares are plastic on the regular G500. Also, I believe the stock front bumper is galvanized steel!
