@Tacoma1192 just finished up this weekend stuffing 37s on my 3rd gen Taco, no great pics cause of the rain yesterday but here’s a few previews after the alignment.

So you’re the one Corey posted pics of. lol. Kyle mentioned yesterday that he had just done a 3rd gen and then I saw Corey post pics of your truck and I figured there couldn’t be that many 3rd gens running around on 37’s.

Once Kyle is done with mine we need to get together and beat on these things.

Thats the spirit! I’ll be in Moab the weekend after Easter, but not sure how much wheeling I’ll do or if I’ll have the 37’s on by then. But I definitely feel a small TW Moab trip coming soon.

Another Scam that is running around over the past couple years is a Sim Swap. Scammer figures out you have AT&T, T-Mobile, (not so much with verizon), they then call the carrier and mention that you have a new phone and need to transfer the sim to a new phone. Some times they are able to convince the carrier that it is you by figuring out your Email/ home location/ SSN ahead of time.

The carrier then transfers your # to the scammers phone. The scammer then gets access to your email via the 2 factor authentication. Most email accounts dont require a hardware key for two factor authentication. Instead, the reset password function sends a confirmation code to a phone # that the scammer now has control of.

The scammer can then change your email password and then scroll through your email and figure out what online services you use (bank/ mortgage carrier). They can then get control of your bank, and mortgage holder.

Use a Hardware key as two factor authentication, not a number. Switch your phone # to a google voice number. Ditch that email address that you have had for 10+ years. Get a separate email for each bill. Get a password manager. Use a separate password for each online account.

    Minimize your online presence.

Selling some 2021 4Runner TRDOR factory take off wheels and tires. Bridgestone Dueler HT tires 265/70/R17. No TPMS. Less than 500 miles on them. Asking $600 to local TW folks. Will post on KSL for $700 if no takers.

PM me if interested. Apologies for the spam.

Hey everyone in UT.. I am pretty new to the Tacoma world, and finding this a huge resource.. so thanks in advance for when I get to the point I am asking suspension /tires questions. lol..Anyway.. i posted this in the Uta classified area, but thought I would at least say hi, introduce myself and ask it here.

I was just was thinking about getting everyone thoughts on maybe trying to coordinate some purchases form CBI. I dont know if y'all have, or have wanted CBI products, but I was looking at a skid plate / overland bars .. and then because of the weight, they wanted like 200 shipping... from ID Falls. I was thinking if we all coordinated a buy, and then had someone go get it.. split the gas cost or something.. and then we save on shipping. Thoughts? Thanks again everyone. Stay safe.

I would recommend looking at C4 Fabrication or RCI Metalworks.

Ok I can for sure look into those. Just out of curiosity, why those over CBI?

Personal preference I suppose. Had a negative experience with CbI. Plus I think you can get as good or better for less coin.

I’m so dying to get out on a trail.

Oh yeah, I’ve been looking for a basic Mossberg pump 590 tactical. It’s easier to find pearls in the Great Salt Lake than ammo or a weapon for the last 12 months.

Today, that 870 is probably worth 3x what you paid for it.
