I did the reroute myself with a buddy. Cut right behind cat and tucked under in front of tcase where the little heat shield is. The stock piece is double wall and I just used single wall but wrapped in lava rock/titanium header wrap. Tight space but no rubbing. Fit with pelfrey skids and also my bamf skids

    Howdy ya’ll

Does anyone in the Salt Lake area by chance have a brake booster push rod measuring tool I can borrow for a fee? I’m not able to find one anywhere, unless I’m looking too hard and it’s underneath my nose somewhere!

    A crap ton of mods.
Thanks for the response. I was going off the prices paid by members listed in the thread here on Tacoma World which started at $75 and typically went up to around $200.
I'd say $200 is very reasonable if it's done well, especially if it's stainless as some are saying in the thread.
Paying $600 for URD's product which is nice looking but isn't something I need or want just seems like a big waste of money. I just want to get the cross-pipe raised before I fab up my skidplates and mount them. Once that happens a blingy exhaust won't even be seen. I took off the performance exhaust that came on my truck and gave it to my son for his Tacoma because I didn't like the drone of the exhaust on long trips when I'd rather hear a podcast or some music, and when I'm entering into an area I'm hunting the last thing I want to do is alert every animal in the area that I've just arrived :)

Understandable on all points. Something to consider, I noticed a difference in throttle response and power upon installing the y-pipe and gained no noise from it. My 4runner is still just as quiet as the day it left the dealer. Their y-pipe is definitely worth the $600. Way better than like a pedal commander or any muffler I’ve experienced on these trucks..

That said, I understand not wanting to spend the money and don’t really blame you.

I had my truck weighed today without the rack and RTT, but full tank of gas.

4425 is what Toyota lists as curb weight for your config with a GVWR of 5600

I don’t even want to know what my 4runner weighs. I’m sure it’s something fucking ridiculous.

curb says 4,750. Definitely over 6k

What am I missing? I’m sure I’ve added more than 260 lbs.

Looks like you’ve added about 1350lbs. And are over the “legal” max weight for your truck. Lol

5860 weighed - 4425 curb = 1435lbs of stuff over stock "curb weight" which is stock truck, no passengers, no gas.

6.3lb/gal * 21.5gal = 135.5lbs so you added 1300 pounds over a stock truck with a full tank of gas. Add a rack and tent and you're pushing 6100ish.

5600 GVWR is the legal max weight of the vehicle, granted that's in stock form on stock brake pads and stock springs as determined by Toyota so on a truck like yours, it might be effectively a little higher since I know you're running deavers, etc.

Agreed. I'm really considering a big brake kit or a t4R swap if I'm planning on keeping my truck longer term.
