They’re already off the truck? Seems a bit steep to me. I spent $350 to get a set of coilovers rebuilt by fox and that included a new piston for the resi, all new braided hoses and fittings, fresh shims/seals/ etc.. and shipping.

I think shipping was like $50 each way from Nashville to Cali. So $250 for the rebuild with all those parts

Yea, that’s seems to be the common consensus.

I probably just gonna go through with it just to get it done.

Don’t wanna go pick them up

I don’t think you will need them personally. Just did a week on cataract this week and I was kayaking in the Viking dry suit the whole time, nothing but my pfd and skirt.

    Me. I'm a river runner.

I'm on the river next week as well, or I'd have some you could borrow. Utah Whitewater Gear in Midvale is awesome if you end up buying. Nice guys. But also, splash pants aren't *that special. If you only need them for the one Deso trip, you could get away with just about any cheapo rain pants. Unless you're planning on swimming in them a lot.

And @redrock95 is probably right. Weather should be good next week, and the water temps aren't too bad. Water is pretty low, so rapids there will be pretty tame.

    not enough.
More like, don't want to freeze my legs in the water.

Nice. Cataract I hear is a great one.

    Which river are you doing?

I stopped by UWG and yeah, pretty nice folks up there. Ended up getting waterproof socks there becuase I figure that's better than not having anything. I ended up getting cheapo rain pants somewhere because that's really all I need.

Yeah, i'm seeing water temps in the mid 50s. peaking at the 60s and weather being calm and sunny the entire time. I'm not SUPER concerned but I'd rather be more prepared than not. I figure worse comes to worst, i'll have the sun beat on me for a little bit. hah!

But I'm excited to get on another river trip again. it's been a long time.

I grew up in a formerly rural part of the state and my mom grew up on a ranch in a STILL rural part of the state, so I'm fluent. You're forgetting "melk," "pellow," "aigs," "meeeor," "Sundee," "Mondee," "Tuesdee," etc...

    Stuff. Also things.
A bunch of my friends were good old boys when I was growing up in southern Utah.

I can confidently say that this is 100% accurate :D

Got the GX lookin less like an old lady car. Now I need to replace the incredibly warped front brakes.
