Ha. I gave up rifle hunting for this reason. Moved over to archery 7 years ago and haven't looked back.

I just bought a multi season for the first time.
Probably won’t get to hunt very much, but that’s pretty much why I bought it.

I was sitting at the computer at work any way ha

Utah used to have those too. (or something similar) I know people that filled freezers with venison and ate it all year. I guess that is a thing of the past.

Now I walk the foothills and see all the deer carcasses left by people shooting for "target practice" and laugh when I hear them complaining because there are so few deer and how difficult it is to get all the tags they want. (And then if they do get a tag they dump the carcass in the foothills.)

I've found countless deer, elk, and goose carcasses just above town. One year there was a stack of goose that would have filled a pick-up bed.

I mean, it’s not really a thing of the past
You’re just seeing what the scum do.

I pretty much live off of venison when I’m up at school.

LOL! This is so true. I am about to pull the pin on new tires. Just trying to decide between Toyo m/t and Yokohama Geolander m/t.

I know nothing about the Toyo brand. Never owned them. But I've had four sets of Geolander A/Ts on four trucks and I'll be buying another set as soon as I wear out the Patagonia crap tires I put on my beater Taco. Not M/Ts, but I like Yokohamas.

The yoko’s are great in rocks and hard shit, great on road, ehh in snow and rain, and not very good in thick mud. They don’t self clean very well unless they’re spinning like 30+mph

Xcellent. Thx for the feedback. I’ve been a long time Toyo fan. Only other tire I’ve ran and can compare to is the KO’s. Didn’t care that much for them. I’ve had nothing but good luck with Toyo.

The Yoko’s look like an exact replica of the Toyo’s, but are a little cheaper and about 6 lbs lighter. I have zero experience with them, so no reference.

Cooper ST MAXX or STT PRO are my top choice. The pro’s will be my next set of tires. The Maxx’s are incredible too though, just not aggressive enough for what I want.

Word on the street is ST Maxx got discontinued and is being phased into the Discovered Rugged Trek. Cooper still lists the tire, but the options for the maxx are narrower than they used to be.
