I love that Toyota fought against its conservative urges and went almost Mopar with this one

The more I look at it, the more I'm on the fence about it. BUT I agree with you that this may be a stepping stone to get away from such bland colors.

I still maintain that yellow was the superior choice, but also glad they didn't release it, because it saved me $40k+ :D

It’s a mix of the FJ Cruiser yellow (don’t they just recycle those colors onto new Pro models?) and the muddy water it’s sitting behind. And ya know what, it works.

Why does this 4Runner look like it’s been stretched out a bit? Is it the angle?

Anyone have any camping /4x4 trail recommendations near vernal ? Flaming gorge is close but haven't really explored Vernal. Looks like a lot of oil and gas sites from satellite images..

There’s a couple spots where the highways cross the rivers.

Dry Fork Canyon, probably the best

    Taylor Mountain road

    Either lake close to town

how close to town? Camping wise

    As for trails,

there’s Red Mountain, but I don’t know if you can get a truck around it anymore, Moonshine Arch is short and easy and then mostly just forest roads if you aren’t wanting to rock crawl or whatever.

It's more of a biking area, but there's some dirt roads and camp spots out near Mccoy flats corral.
