For those of you who have had damage from sand storms, any success with a DIY for windshield or headlight damage? Got stuck in a sandstorm in Nevada, and the windshield and headlights look like they got sand blasted. I’ll try some detailing correction on them but im thinking that won’t work.

I’ve bought four vehicles at KM for my wife and I and a Tacoma for my Dad. They used to be awesome, best experience at a dealership by far. Before I moved, I still took my vehicles there for service. However, when I was looking for my last Tacoma (2020) they were complete jackasses. Treated us very poorly, jerked us around on pricing, etc. We walked out and went to another dealer a bought a truck. It was fun telling them when they called the next week and asked if we were still interested
Yep, I refuse to do business with any LarryH business because of all my poor experiences I’ve had with their dealerships. Bought a new Cherokee back in 99 and was lied to, they actually swapped the Cherokee I test drove with another when we were in working “the deal” that was similar but didn’t tell me and it was missing some key features I had tested and was specifically looking for (like cruise control). Didn’t realize until a couple days later, raised hell over that. They admitted to swapping and I ended up getting the missing features added. We were also promised a rental car if our Jeep was ever in for any service. Well, our Cherokee broke down outside of Mesquite, t-case seized up because of a faulty seal, and we ended up stranded in St. George. The St. George dealer let us know, Jeep never offers rentals for service. We bought a used Jetta from their used lot and again, it was nothing but lies. By this point I was done with LarryH to the point that I wouldn’t go to Jazz games, visit their theaters, etc. I was done with them.

Many years go by of not giving them any of my business and my wife decides she want a new Lexus and the only one in Utah that had the options she wanted was at the Larry H Lexus dealer. Reluctantly, we went in and told the salesman up front that we hate Larry H dealerships and have been lied to time and again. This was their chance to win us back. Needless to say, it was a terrible experience, which I should expect nothing less from a Larry H dealership. It was a fight but we got out of there with the car my wife wanted. Never again under any circumstance will we go to a Larry H dealer.

Yup I feel the same way. If the wife wants another lexus we will road trip it to Vegas lol hopefully since they were bought out they will get better but since the people that bought them said to Deseret news that they were a "well-run operation with long-tenured employees and a senior leadership team equaling over 5,300 passionate team members, all of whom have had a part in building and carrying forward the legacy that Larry H. and Gail Miller founded over 42 years ago." I highly doubt it.

Man, lots of horrible experiences out there. 10ish years ago I bought a used ‘01 Tacoma from Mark Miller downtown. It was my first and only experience at a dealer and it was fine. I’ve been back a number of times there for service and it’s been great. I’d go back.

Tons of good and very specific info here from my friends at Tacoma World. It’s interesting how different places like Yelp and Google reviews can be from real life experiences from our peers. I thank you all for taking the time to share them.

I got a hold of Butcher at MM and told him you referred me Will. I told him that I’ve heard great things and expect a great experience and for them to look after you for going out of your way to share your experiences. So this is where we see the importance of just being open with customers. He’s been 100% transparent and knows his stuff and is kind. Just like you said. So I thank you all!

Bought my 08 from Mark Miller. They have always treated me well whenever I had to go back for problems or TSB work too.

KM absolutely screwed my wife and I when we bought her Camry. I would just not own a Toyota anymore if they were the only option to purchase one. Will NEVER go back there. Their finance manager Ty is an absolute snake.

I actually dig the new lime green. If I were in the market it is the color that would end up in my driveway.

Yeah, I love it. Same, if I were looking for another Tacoma, I’d 100% get it without question. I loved my Voodoo blue because it was bright and stood out, this is like that for me.

How big of a tire does a Taco need to be capable on moderately technical trails? Like top of the world in moab for example
