I would say 33” tires would be fine. I did Top of the world with 285/75/17 km3’s so a hair bigger at almost 34”.

I also agree with 33s, I did TOTW recently on 285/75r16s. With tires this small you rely on armor more though….

If anyone has a lead on a first gen four door that's relatively clean let me know. I'm not too concerned about miles just needs to be fairly rust free thanks!

yeah I definitely hit in a few spots. But maybe could have avoided it on an easier line. Pretty cool trail though.

Ive tried Performance(Bountiful), LHM, KM, and MM and without a doubt MM was the best but that was many years ago.

I guess the road is trying to stud my tires before winter?

Oof. Hopefully that is repairable. Had one that close to the sidewall and had several places refuse to repair it. Luckily a buddy of mine owns a shop and was willing to give it a try. Drove 30k more miles on it before the tires were scrubbed and had to be replaced.

My hope is it's just in the tread block. I haven't tried pulling it out yet because I don't feel like swapping to the spare if it's leaking afterwards. :D

Unfortunately, winter is upon us and a lot of the gated trails are closing for the season (sometimes at random) this time of year.

Basically anything west of I-15 is pretty unrestricted and open to exploring, but is more the open range 'overland" type of trail.

5 Mile Pass is a good spot for more technical stuff but is a hoof from up there.

I dunno why they close the gates so early out here. The Ashley NF people don’t close gates until snow gets too deep.

Or too deep in their opinion.

    Lowest common denominator yo.

Also, a lot of the areas are wildlife migration areas or whatever they're called (like the mouth of Provo Canyon)
