UTAH (and Surrounding Areas) BS Thread

Building a dual Wavian gas can holder for my taco after the last trip to the Swell.

 

I have seen everyone's rigs on this site but haven't really met any of you in person. Perhaps this summer we can do a wheeling trip in the mtns or out in one of our many deserts.

 

Last time down in the swell I did most of behind the reef. I took the bail out route at the halfway point.

We ended up camping next to the river at the end of hidden splendor.

I wasn't sure my truck would be able to fit on the last section of being the reef. From my funtreks book, the jeep looks like it barely fits. They also mention that this portion of the trail is in a wash with no bypass. I'll have to come in from the end of that section and see if my truck actually fits. I think if my front end was stock width I would probably fit without issues. The joys of a 7' wide front end (outside tire to outside)

Did a quick weekend visit to Cedar Mesa with a buddy. Moon House, Target ruin, tower ruin, A little proper off roading on the old highway, Cave Tower ruins, the Citadel ruin (amazing hike! So damn scenic), hiked Sheiks canyon to the Green Mask and breach birth pictograph panel, and Monarch Cave Ruins. Camped along the river one night.

Great trip. I love SE Utah.
