Wife and I did the Rimrocker from Montrose to Moab two weeks ago or so and were gonna camp in the La Sals the next night but there was like 8” of melting snow and mud so we bailed.

Anybody know if Moab area has snow all year? I mean the high mesas or low mountains? I know low elevations should be fine most of the winter. I’d like to go run some trails Dec or January up there.

You might do better down in Kanab if you want to avoid snow.

No idea. I haven’t been to Moab in the winter time, but would be interested in checking it out.

    not enough.
I would expect the high mesas/low mountains to be either a muddy mess or snowed in all winter. I doubt you'd find any good wheeling to be had.

The shop owner drives a 2nd Gen Taco if that helps with some type of peace of mind.

Best bet in the winter is 5 mile or out west.

Yep. Just paid about 1500 bucks for a set of Cooper's for my wife's Tahoe...pretty ridiculous.

Weird. Someone asked about trading me a LS swapped 80 for an enclosed trailer recently. Are there a ton of these things?!

Fairly basic. 5.3 37’s. Falcon wheels. ARb rear locker, trail gear bumper with some added tube. Some baja lights to mount up. Some cheap rock lights and rear lights. Corbeau baja suspension seats. Holley terminator system. Brand new as of Monday- RCV front axles and rebuilt knuckles. I have an EIMKeith radius arm mount kit to get installed and push the front axle forward a bit. Has ome shocks and springs. Rear gears and locker are new as of august. I drove it down from Seattle at the end of august towing a 5x8 enclosed trailer with everything I own. interior is in good shape, paint isn’t great. It’s a sweet rig, but I got my taco back through a set of weird circumstances and I want to do a canopy camper setup on it instead.

Does anybody have a single 285/70/17 AT tire they are looking to get rid of? I've been wanting to put a full-size spare under the truck but don't want to buy a matching brand new one for $356 :annoyed:.

It'll sound like a broken record but talk to Corey Sanders @ Impulse offroad. Seems like he's always posting one off tires at a fair rate used on his FB profile / in the UTOR classifieds page.

He just had something close to that up for grabs amongst some other stuff.
