Yeah, I think there was a accident on just about every other intersection on my way to work this AM. Worst part is I have a 30 min meeting as my only reason to go into the building today. :(

Yes lots of slush, and it was cold enough that it packed into ice where people were driving. Just another day to really really appreciate my Tacoma *heart emoji*

allt hat supercharged power probably was fun.

I woke up and saw the snow and just sighed. i like that we're at a historic snowpack but man, i'm ready for spring.

I had the same reaction this morning...I know we need the water, but I am over it this year already.

I've seen winters with no snow on the valley floor... and I've seen snow in July.

This winter has been more than normal up at the ski resorts, but pretty normal in the valley compared to most years a few decades ago.

Guess I'm an optimist, I did a 4WD fishtail drift out of my driveway and halfway down the street, giggling the whole way.

I look at icy roads as slo-mo stunt driving practice. (of course, in a safe manner and when there aren't kids or other cars around)

Yeah, mostly. I've had to do a lot more shoveling this year for sure. And a lot more at once. Had piles of snow higher than most years.

same. when there's no one around, i give it a ltitle bit of beans.

Sweet. I grew up in Porterville and Delano. Looks like Tulare Lake is making a comeback this year.
    Cheers.

Right on. I worked at the two prisons in Delano for the last ten years. Moved up here to work at the state hospital in Provo.

Should work at our state prison. Officers there start at over 28 bucks and hour come July. If you have previous experience they will pay you year for year for it so you'd start much higher than that.

I've read some of the articles about staffing at the prisons especially the new one up in SLC. I'm a social worker, though. Never POST trained so no officer experience just tons of prison experience. Sounds like here even the social workers are post certified in the prisons.
