What're you videoing

An instructional video. A "how to" film, done in four or five 15 minute segments... unless my video guy has better ideas.

 

How to video about what specifically. Are we talking driving, planting a garden, or how to hide a body?

 

Just talking with some kind of video to make it interesting. I could sit in front of the camera... but not particularly interested... or have something interesting going on and do a voice over.

But I'd love to do a how to video on drifting...

Do you have a specific location in mind.

 

Not really other than my garage, or maybe a local theater. I guess location would be something to discuss.

I just got a text from one of the people I've contacted and he sounds interested.

But how familiar are you with making/editing videos? I like options.

 

None at all but I've got a handful of cameras and maybe even a fun little truck haha

 

Well then thanks for your interest and if you don't mind I'll keep it mind but try to work something out with this guy that does it for a living. Man, I wish I knew cameras and was comfortable with them but I just can't do everything. I just noticed you are in Cedar City. We just took a road trip down there to try out the Cup Bop Korean Barbecue in Cedar.

 

We're going to need to try that place again...first time was just "OK"...probably need to go spicier next time.

 

The one we went to in Spanish Fork was noticeably better. I was a little surprised at the inconsistency between two places, so I'm going to try other locations. The one in Cedar wasn't bad... it just wasn't as good.

I'm good with their #4 spice.

 

I've done Shafer trail solo before. It's good trail. Not too difficult and the views are pretty awesome. Some spots are alittle rocky but nothing that's going to break the truck.

 

My brother needs to get a riding mower from St George to SLC. Any ideas where to find someone driving up with an empty trailer that wants some cash?
Seems like there’s a FB group for everything but I can’t find that one.

 

That's actually a great idea. A place where people that are traveling someplace anyways can transport awkward items that would be hard to ship by traditional carriers.

I still haven't been to the Cedar Cup Bop yet but when we tried it in St George everyone was in a huge hurry so I really never got a chance to understand the menu, I have no idea what i was eating at the time so I really need to give it a second go

Have you tried Bunnisa's Thai Cuisine?

 

No... maybe next time. There's a Thai place in Tooele that has some amazing food. Thai desserts are about as good as it gets.

Has anybody ever setup a booth at a farmer market? I'm curious if you have to have a business license, insurance etc. I know you need a tax id for sure. That leads to my next question. Anybody familiar with starting a small business? What is the bare minimum you need to be "legit".

I've been selling 3d printed stuff and have had awesome results at yard sales. I want to try a booth at the farmers markets and see how it goes.

My latest creations I've been giving out to my buddies. Think I even got the correct font down too.

 

You need a state tax ID number and a business bank account.
