I'm in for AF if the meet is on the 9th.

Got ya, I know the trail you're talking about. Not sure about trying it in the truck. Above the B (plateau) there is some pretty washed out parts on that road as it goes around the mountain, it's pretty sketch. I used to go up there in my Jeep back in the day but the road was alot wider and not washed out.

I really dont think anyone is planning anything that will require 4x4. You'll be more than fine, and if not, we can always pull you up. ;)

Looks like AF is open, as are most of the trails.

(The trails mentioned are all single track trails.)

I've drove it the last two weekends man, it's a little scary on parts but made it through just fine.. (a few branches left their mark on the clear coat though)

I've got drill June 1st to the 3rd, so other than those days I'm down for whatever. If we do end up goin 5 mile (this time or another) I live like 2 minutes away and go off roading there all the time so I know some good trails and loops.

Hey guys I figured I would give the Utah crowd first picks on my Yakima roof rack I am selling since shipping would cost an arm and a leg. I will take some pics tonight of the setup but was just curious on if anyone was interested in the first place. I spent over $450 for this setup a few years ago and it was only on my truck for about 1 year and its been sitting in my garage ever since so its been out of the weather and elements. I went with the OEM roof rack instead so thats why I am selling this setup. I am going to let it go for $300 straight up and it includes everything. Here is a list of what I am including:

    -Q Towers
    -Q 127 clips
    -Q 128 clips
    -58" crossbars
    -Yakima Fairing
    -SKS Locks -all 4

Like I said, this is a full setup and you wont need anything more for a complete install. Its all plug-n-play so no drilling or cutting. PM me if your interested.

Sure is. Nice to hear from you Kyle. We should get together sometime for a beer. Maybe give me some advice as to a start on improving my rig, and start building for next year

Nice. Good to see you will make it to this meet in AF. Im probably not the best to hand out advice but I would enjoy the BS session.

We need to figure out a good way to swap pictures from Moab. I PM'ed Meg to see if she has any to share.

Yeah Mike and I are gonna make it out for sure. we are already planning on meeting up to work on the trucks a little. just some small details to get the ball rolling for next Moab trip, if you're interested we can all get together. maybe we'll discuss it next weekend on the drive.
I did get a few good pics of the Moab trip and our little convoy. Let me know the easiest way to get those over to you. Being new at this site, not sure if it is easiest to post on here or somewhere else. let me know i would like to see the pics that you and Meg captured. Looking forward to AF
