Bryce Canyon, Zions, Moab, Lake Powell. There is a lot to so in Southern Utah, it really depends on what you want to do. Boat, hike, 4X4, scenic drive, etc.

Yeah I've never been to that area and I had 2 free air line tiks anywhere conus. So I figured Id spend a few days in Vegas show her around then do some hiking/sight seeing/horse back riding in Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyon. Ive always wanted to check the area out. What town would be the best to stay in to take day trips to the parks? I hear end of Sept/first week in Oct would be a good time. Moab is probaly too far out of the way but I would like to see lake powell and kayak if they do that there. Im open for any other suggestions. THanks!

If it were me I would probably stay in St. George because of its size. Also from there you should be ok to make day trips out.

I would recommend you call the Utah office of tourism 800-200-1160 they should be able to help you out better than I can.

Sounds like you are doing all the fun stuff and yes Sept / Oct is definitely the best time to go down there.
