Has anyone installed the Ute brand aluminum bed on a 2nd gen access cab Tacoma? If so, how do you like it?

Has anyone done a frame extension on a 2nd gen access cab Tacoma? Been thinking of doing it to install a 7'6" length Ute aluminum bed (as opposed to the shorter, 6'8" model). Looks like the best place to lengthen is under the cab since the frame is straight there but begins transition upward immediately behind the cab.

Any web links to frame lengthening sites.

    Thanks,

    Smokin Joe

I've never heard of anyone either lengthening the frame or installing an aluminum bed (you don't like the composite?, looking for more a work-truck bed?), but here's a bump for you.
