A home made bed topper/rack thing that actually works really well
    Hello,

A friend recently acquired a 2015 double cab short bed truck and he is a carpenter. He is looking for a ladder rack that he can transport lumber and such with. Because he is used to a Silverado with a 8ft box which has one of the big long racks that hangs over the cab, he's looking for something similar for the Tacoma. I remember seeing several racks years ago that stand at cab height in the bed and can work in conjunction with a roof top rack to increase your span dramatically. His truck does not have any roof rails equipped right now.

Can anyone recommend a brand that will work well that consists of a roof rack and bed rack? He's looking for something strong and utilitarian, not a boutique overlanding piece that makes the driver look tough.

    Thank you!

    Keith
