Are you a CWU grad or an EBURG native?? I graduated there in 07 and love it. Currently doing a 3" fox lift on 33s. Will need to get in touch with you to hit Manastash and Blue Mountains! Your wife can show mine trail riding is fun and not scary as shit lol

Subb'd for an awesome build, a ton of useful info, and from the PNW!

I have a 3rd Gen 4Runner atm (MT, light expo rig) but have been looking for the right buy on a 2nd Gen Taco for 6 months now. This is what I'm looking to build. Expect some questions and maybe some advice in the future.

Keep this thing coming, that thing is sic.

I grew up in selah and now live in eburg, my wife and I own claim clothing across from ace/wood hardware downtown. Definitely hit me up when it warms up and we can hit some trails around town.

Thanks, I also have a 4th gen 4runner that I will need to start building at some point for the wife. She's getting tired of it being stock. If your around the PNW i would suggest looking else where for your 2nd gen taco because the price will be lower. They hold their value to much around these parts.

Pulled both rear axles fully out to clean and inspect put in new axle seals. Also checked the rear pads that were almost shot and put new ones on. Then after about 3 hours cleaning all of the metal out of the housing with a magnet and putty knife got the rear diff in.

Might try and put the front in before the super bowl tomorrow or just hold off till next weekend.

Yea, I hear that. My '05 (that i bought new) sold for 6k less then what I paid for it, 5yrs later, with 100k on the clock the same day I listed it. Ive been looking down south for one, got no issue flying down to buy one.

this was my first time doing drums but its pretty easy with a couple of the right tools. Maybe 20 minutes to take apart and put back together.

And you want it so you can't spin the tire a full rotation

Did you get the 4.88s in yet? I'm curious how much better it handles hill over the stock gearing.

About 100000000000000000000000000000000x better. You don't realize how bad it is until you regear

I only got the rear in last weekend, due to really wanting to take my time cleaning out the rear axle. There was so much metal in there it was crazy.

I should have the front in, and on all 4s this weekend.
