    Because:

    1) It doesn't help your CV angles.
    2) It decreases clearance between your skid plates and the front diff mounts, endangering them if there's a hard hit. (matter of fact, I think you have to put spacers on Budbuilt skids to get them to clear a dropped diff...double check me on that...go out to your truck and see if you can wedge one of the diff drop spacers between the front diff mount and your front skid).

    3) It rotates the diff, moving the pinion gear up out of the oil bath more than the stock configuration and throwing off your your front driveline angle...both of which are not good for the front diff pinion or its bearings.


    In short: It can do no good, it can only do bad.
