yea we were going Sunday. I am sure if we are getting snow we will have it by then.

thanks for the trail info, I am very anal about my truck so if I were to go there and mess something up I would be so pissed.

This weekend will not be ideal conditions to be going out for your first time, just sayin...

Wait until spring when it’s dry.

Then don't get into offroading. I am going to try and make it there Sun to get a run in before the closure of the season.

Sound advice. Unless you are up for a challenge on some of the trails.

oh, I am not taking my truck. I am riding with him in his Jeep. I won't take my truck until I see for myself I won't F it up. it is my daily driver so I can't afford to mess it up.

Mine is a daily driver too, and haven’t messed anything up (badly) yet.

Good tires make all the difference...and not being a retard by picking lines that might F some shit up.

I'm the same way about my vehicles...I'll say a good spotter goes a long long way.

This is good advice! But sometimes unlucky situations arise and shit happens. When it's wet and slick out problems can arise quickly. If ya'll go sunday I hopefully will be there probably going to meet up with another guy and wheel all depends on the weather and how shitty it gets.
Just look for my truck at the outpost I'll be there around 9 if I make it
This is the rock pile at the top of RML hill climb. Most don't go this line though.

thanks guys. I appreciate the advice and info. hopefully we can get there Sunday and I can see what it's all about.

yea, that rock pile isn't for me. I only have AT tires, so probably not a lot of crawling for me...

I'm on ATs also you'd be surprised at how well some ATs do. The Duratracs, STT Maxx, and Ridge Grapplers are some pretty aggressive ATs and really do well. Matt has the STT Maxx and I'm really impressed with them I think they are just a notch above the Duratracs.

Yep. Next set will be STT Pros though.

I’m at 30k on this set and they are about half worn.

Mine is a daily driver also..I may be as picky as you, but I do use it as a truck and play a little also. Tomorrow should be ok unless it starts early, but Sunday I am on the 12”-18” zone. Snow is easy driving-it’s just those crazies that are afraid or tailgate I worry about.

Most of us all daily our trucks. With offroading there is always risk of something happening. Last month on my AOAA trip to PA I got unlucky and hydrolocked the motor in a water crossing it wasn't even that deep. The wheel well plastic was hanging down just right and either the wake or my tire threw just enough water up into the intake to fill 1 cycl. and it came to a dead stop. One cycl and ~8oz of water is all she wrote and I was Uhauling it back home that weekend and putting a new motor in.

Its that Ice we get under the snow that people don't seem to heed caution too. That and thinking they can drive like it's dry pavement.
