I've been on the easy/green Wolf Den trail, but scared to ride anything else there solo without a riding buddy or guide.

Which of the trails would you consider safe for an experienced yet stock tacoma? I used to go out there all the time in my lifted Jeeps. It's been years since I've been back, and I'd love to get out on the trails for some easy offroading (avoiding tearing up my truck) with the kids and potentially camp the night somewhere in our RTT.

Basically stay off the D trails. With some guiding and spotting we can get you through everything except maybe Dickey Bell or Daniel.

I made it through Daniel in a stock wrangler years ago - interesting experience I dont want to repeat LOL. So trails like Wolf's Den and whatever else is out there would be relatively safe for a stock Taco. As much as I want a lift and tires/wheels, my family keeps finding other purposes for my money.

Backside of Daniel is fairly easy in a stock truck with a good spotter. I did it plenty with just tires.

Skip and I took a stock 3rd gen OR through Dutch John as well, though the trough got pretty rough for that guy.

Just had a heart to heart with the Alignment tech! 5th alignment in 2 months?! Either I’m going to be good for Uwharrie or he ain’t gonna torque shit down so it all falls apart on the trail and I never come back!

Yep it all can be done in a stock 4cyl, but it's not always a fun experience. There's nothing crazy hard here.
