I came. I saw. I was low key disappointed. Expected more trails and harder stuff. We didn’t do Daniel due to nobody wanted to go with me lol but meh. Sweet place for cruising but not as challenging as I had hoped

Uwharrie has a pretty decent mix of trails. If you didn't find something at least semi-challenging, I wonder if you have a pretty well built truck, or maybe missed some trails... Or they put down asphalt and started building condos.

Check out Gulches in SC, too. There is a really good mix of trails there, a few more challenging than Uwharrie offerings.

I want to get back to AOP and Windrock. There is a planned trip to do the Kentucky Adventure Tour, but no way I can make that this year. :(

Yes especially radical ravine my whole right side is pretty pancaked from it and the sandy loam soil really does a good job putting some nice sanding scratches. You'll even need a winch over the hump 1/2 up that leans you harder into the wall and the little turn there.

Wild. I wanted to try it today but nobody in the group would do it with me and wheeling alone ain’t smart so couldn’t do it.

Well some only have trailerable rigs but use URE as like a proving grounds of sorts. There is still far more that drive wheel it then go home. The last climb from the front side a rock garden if you will is where you can pretty much do whatever you want in regards to line to a certain extent of course.

You would of liked wheeling with the Jeeps and this scout today. There were at least 3 rollovers today

I gotcha. I’d go back but just with the wife’s rig instead.

Again. Not trying to seem cocky or badass but we all have our own wheeling style and the group that let me tag along said they like to do harder stuff so I was hyped lol.

This is what wheeling did to my old tacoma.. every body panel eventually got too messed up and had to come off

meanwhile I hate whenever the wife’s rig even gets a scratch on it but it’s good for the more moderate trails.

It's a good shakedown/get out in the woods on a weekend day place! I have fun bombing around the woods there!

You should have just run it solo, there's plenty of trees to winch off of and it's not that long of a trail.

I'm going to windrock with skip and few other people august 19-22, come on out, plan on hitting mostly hard stuff.
