Hey guys! I've been a member on TW for almost 2 years now and am a student at High Point University in High Point,NC. I didn't realize you guys had a Uwharrie thread but count me in! I'm in the process of getting my taco off-road ready but I'm always down to meet up with other TW guys and try to do some wheeling!

Run it stock, I did. Plenty of trails that you can do.

Mine is still stock minus the tires and I made it up the back side of Daniel last time out...2nd time ever off roading too

Any meetups planned for the month? I'd be interesting in camping/wheeling

I am taking my scouts down there at the end of the month but I don't think the bus can wheel though.

I’m going to make a trip at some point this month. Wheel Saturday, camp, wheel Sunday for a bit then go home.

Baby is due Nov 1st, so I need to go before I have to go off-grid for six months.

Can you do it when it's dry? Straight up the ledges or around?

I would be game to go. I would have my little 4yr old with me and would like to start out with some of the easier trails.

Sounds like a plan. I am about an hr away. You are talking about the Eldorado Outpost there correct? I have not been wheeling there in about 15 yrs and back then I was just a passenger.
