That was my first time there in almost 2yrs lol

 

Damn a new trail that's cool looks fun.

I think I'm going on 2 or 3 now.

 

It's not, that's one rocky optional obstacle, the rest is a 2wd dirt road..saying that I'm glad they are at least building new trails.

You do get a good view of the damn this time of the year.

 

Isn't that most of the URE trails.

 

Went out there this past Saturday. First impressions are positive. It was busy but not obnoxiously overcrowded. The community out there seems friendly enough, as well. A good mix of easy and difficult terrain with alternative routes around all the difficult stuff. Looking forward to next time... Always gets me wanting to spend more $$$ to get my rig up to speed. Next upgrade will be 33" tires on new wheels.

Ha! 33” at the max. 35” would come with too much trouble- beyond the point of diminishing returns in my humble opinion.

Spoke to a ranger this weekend. URE is gonna be a different kinda place if they dont close it all together if people dont get there shit together.

I HATE PEOPLE.

 

Thats bullshit. My wife and I spent an hour cleaning other peoples trash last camping trip. Im the type of guy who doesnt care about deleted and tuned diesels but trash in the woods makes our blood boil. How you do one thing is how you do everything. If you leave plastic in the woods your house is probably gross too.

 

Agreed. How fucking hard is it to clean up after yourself. If you cant do it, then keep your ratchet ass at home.
