    NC-105 no need to air down and Subarus can do it but worth the view at the top.

    @TacoTuesday1

    Dont listen to this guy. Def air down for 105. Lockers if you got em, at the very least dont go at it alone.

    RTT is helpful, doesnt make you anymore capable but at least youll fit in with the rest of the "overlanders"

    It has been unusually dry lately, right? This is only my second year here, but I get the impression it normally rains a lot more in the spring and summer.

    This year spring was very spring like. Usually it’s warmer and drier through the spring. Summer is pretty dry for weeks straight. Most of our rain in the summer seems to come from storms off the coast.

    Being a lawn nerd and a mountain biker, summer is always super dry and dusty.

    I see. Was last year's spring wetter than normal, then?

    I get that summer usually dries up, except for the tropical storms, it just seemed earlier this year.

    Agree we're not like other parts of the country that have a usually wet spring, or really defined seasons. Kinda jumps from winter ish to summer ish pretty fast.

    Anyone headed to Uwharrie this weekend? Thinking of heading down Saturday morning and camping overnight.

    Haven’t been since pre-china flu. My wife and I used to go several weekends a month with our Kawasaki ATVs but I’ve never taken a truck through the trails. Looks like a few things have changed since we were last there.

    Yeah that red clay up there is a mess when it rains heavy. We may end up heading to Pisgah instead if it keeps raining later in the week

    Granted it’ll slow down as it approaches the western towns but that storm just dumped about 18 inches of rain in Carolina beach this morning.

    sloppy might be an understatement
