On my way home. New rear gears are in. Gotta get this paid off then order a geared front diff so I can use my 4WD again. I probably won't lock the front. If I need a front locker, I probably shouldn't be on that trail

IMO ON THE LOCKER. I used it quite a bit on the climbs. It made the climb so much smoother.

I'm sure you that's true but on the other hand its over a grand and I dont know if I can wait long enough to save enough to get it. If I don't add the locker and just buy a front diff with 4.56s it'll be about $600 with me doing the diff swap. With the locker it'll be about $1600 plus I have to buy and install the air system, switches, line and wiring. So $2000-2500. That's a BIG difference. That would put me out of commission for the entire fall/winter

I would say just do the gears in the front diff first. You can spend your whole life saving for more parts but if it keeps you from wheeling, camping, and doing the things you love whats the point.

My front diff with ARB was ~$1300 and I installed diff myself. If u need air compressor add another 250 and that's about it. The kit comes with the switches and lines u need

Nah he has a thread on a runner forum but doesn't keep up with it much. I can tell you it has a d44, linked front, sway aways, hydro assist, supercharger with 7th injector, 4.88's on 35's, arb up front. He's planning on doing chevy 63's in the rear.
