    I have to wonder if it was the brand of u-joints we pressed in? Everything seemed fine when we did the install and it ran all good at rausch, I would bring those joints back for warranty.

    I think we did a fine job with them... I'm thinking that the carrier bearing mount was already tweaked and by actually replacing the joints it put more stress else where since we took away the play of the worn joints. And I'm sure that the cheap pep boys joints did not help :anonymous:

    Update:
    Got the cross member pretty straight using angle finder and measurements to several points of reference.... Somehow the bolts for the CB do not line up...
    The spare shaft that I'm trying to use has a CB with more than normal play so that doesn't help much.

    Plan now is to see how much would it cost to rebuild the broken shaft into a one piece vs buying a new one piece. Also tempted to let some of my local DBs take a shot at the BAH on that bish
