Let me dust off this thread a little bit...

Gave Ron a little bit of love today and installed my compressor... it only took me years to get to it
Used the Slee Off Road bracket. Most of the harness is set but I'm going to switches located on the overhead console and the ARB switches pigtails aren't long enough, so I'm going to come back to that.





















All said and done the Slee bracket was super easy to put together (it all comes in pieces but destructions were very clear), it feels very solid, it uses a convenient spot (specially for us 12-up 2gens with the secondary air jet in the middle of the passenger side ) AND REALLY REALLY LIKE that it comes with a spot for the manifold and it includes a longer steel braided hose (needed)...

... and now just to wait and see how the powder coating holds up.

But it's mostly done, and both diff are on but the rear e-locker doest want to engage so have to address that...

Only 2 out of the 10 bolts we still on and I can easily love them with my fingers #DESTROYED

The e-locker actuator is so expensive... hope I can get mine to work again after cleaning it out... I can hear the motor kinda cycle on and off when I press the locker on and off

***UPDATE***
I got my actuator/e-locker to engage and disengage for now and hoping it stays working. I think we must have assembled it a few teeth off, if that's even possible. I tested everything I could think of to come to this conclusion.

With all 4 wheels off the ground I took the actuator off and manually locked and unlocked the diff to rule the locker itself and it was working (rear wheels were spinning in opposite directions while unlocked and in the same direction while locked). Then I had my son press the locker on and off while I was under the truck with the actuator still out of the diff and the actuator's motor/pinion was spinning according to each direction so I ruled that out. Finally I did the same thing to the locker and actuator at the same time on and off a few times keeping an eye at the locker light indicator on the dash to make sure it was working accordingly (off-blinking-on) to rule out the light and/or sensor were bad, but that was all kosher as well.

After all these checked out, for what its worth the locker should be working fine so I assume we must have put it wrong when the actuator was swapped from the old 3rd to the new one. Not sure if proper but I ended up locking the diff manually and setting the motor on the lock position and then putting it back on the diff prior to reassemble and now the actuator/diff is locking and unlocking just fine...

Hopefully it is fixed for good!

 

Finished changing the differentials oil after the gear break-in period... oil was pretty clean from what I seen on and what I've heard others experience.
