God willing this is the last time I take the rear shaft off of Ron in a long long time...
Getting it new joints, carrier bearing, and getting it balanced at Axle Exchange tomorrow.


It would be so cool if the next time I have to take the driveshafts off is to do some cool mods

 

Had an issue with my RTT, where the bumps that the ladder rest on while close, ripped through the outter sheet metal.

To fix it, 1st I filled the holes with RTV.




Then I used an 8x16 door push plate to better distribute weight of the ladder and to reinforce the already damaged area. Used heavy duty exterior 3m mounting tape.








Then I also thought I change the little tiny bumps that the ladder came with by using these 1.5" heavy duty rubber pads

Since I took the RTT off to give it some TLC and the needed repairs, I also took the BPF F.Y.L model rack down, half ass wire brushed some rust spots and gave it a few fresh coats of paint.... and while I was already wire brushing, I did the ifs skid as well.







With the skid I literally went as half ass as possible as ya'll can see

The freshly balanced driveshaft with new joints and new carrier bearing is finally on.... took it around town and it felt pretty good but did not have enough space to get Ron above 60mph

 

Got Ron some window vents... a mod I always wanted but never put effort to look them up... seems like most that I seen or at least "noticed" were not in-channel and were the ones that get stuck to the out side.... I did not like them too much...
Seen(noticed) these on @HomerTaco truck the other day and really like them so I ordered a set to give them a try...







Apart from being in-channel, what I really like the most is that they are very low profile

Nice window vents fabs! One of my first mods love them. Just watch as in cold weather If you roll the window down and then up wet it may freeze and likes to bind up atleast my window motors. Theyre also sometimes annoying for wheeling sticking your head out the window. Maybe its just the way I sit though. I got the weathertech ones for xmas back in 2011 and still have them.

And installed B110s until I get my shocks back from @Downsouth Motorsports to be able to make a trip this coming weekend.





Or I might just keep these B110s, sell Kings and upgrade the rear altogether...
