V6 KM per Tank ?

Interesting , I get better than that with a 2 1/2" lift , commercial cap and LT275/70/17 tires

All rural driving , no highway

 

So after owning my 2012 for about 7 months now, im getting 500 k's in the city and 600 on the highway... Driving pretty easy. Then the light comes on. I fill the tank everytime at 67 litres. Meaing i still have 13litres in the tank. Question for all of you, how many km's have you gotten when the fill up light comes on.

 

I know this is a little old now..but when the light comes on i get just over another 100km.

I never worry though..the scangauge tells me how much is left...when i fill up i usually need 71-72 liters.

 

You get 100 kms on 14 litres ?

you guys are lucky. Not only winter gas but my ride to work is only 4.4 kilometers. Doesn't give the engine much time to warm up. I've read on these forums that the tacoma just dumps gas into the engine when its cold. I'm getting between 18-20 K/100 with the cold weather and short trips. I have noticed much better mileage with highway driving. The truck still only has 4500 kilometers on it yet.

 

^All new engines do that. It's to bring them up to operating temperature faster.
