First oil change coming, Ive read the "Oil Change thread" and it stated the torque on the drain plug for the v6 was 30 foot pounds..........Just want to check and make sure this was correct.............

    Thanks

A good strong tug on the craftsman wrench should do the trick..you can tell yourself just by how it feels..no need for a torque wrench:D

i just did the oil change with my volvo 1998 s70 ..the drain plug was pretty tight on there..but it came off and i just torqued in with a nice tug..not to hard not to soft. i guess it would come in handy to have a torque wrench so you could be sure..but in 15 years ive never used one;)
