Yup! I have one on mine too, I have the 2.7 pulley and 7th injector but can't use those until I can find a piggyback unit comparable to the x-1 changing to the 2.8" pulley Gabe back the feeling the supercharged had before I put bigger tires on my truck. Well worth the 150.00 expense and the dealer can't tell anything is different.

Yeah the map ecu looks pretty cool I've. Een looking into that since you sent me that info I've decided to buy it I'm just trying to find someone with a plug and play harness or at least the plugs so I can build one. My truck is still pretty. We so I want to be able to make the install reversible if I ever have a big problem and need warranty work done.

Dealer CAN tell if the blower is producing more boost if there ever was an issue. The air flow is mapped and logged, IF someone wants to dig that far if there is an issue.

    My advice is this.

I have a 420 RWHP MR2. I spent over $13000 on the engine, to have it built TWICE. In the end the guy F'd it up again and would NOT stand behind his work. So I was out all that money and almost 3 YES THREE years it took him to build it, I ended up fixing an asston of stuff that I had already paid, TWICE to have resolved. He felt 1 quart oil every 600 miles was ok on an engine with 2000 miles on it.

STICK with the TOYOTA warranty unless you don't care about flushing money down the toilet. In my experience, multiple 'reputable' aftermarket and tuning shops here in Portland don't know shit let alone stand behind their work when something goes wrong.

    That's my advice.

It dosent matter that they are out of stock, the OP or I cant use them anyways, I think 09+ cant use the APR X-1. If your not looking for crazy power and tuning ability the URD MAF will work just fine.

So what does the supercharger do to mileage? I'm getting about 19 mpg in my 2011 dbl cab V6 on the freeway right now with the stock engine.

I get 18-20 mpg on the freeway between Tucson & Phoenix. Thats with 285 M/T tires driving 70-75mph. That mpg is adjsuted for tire size. In town I get 16-18mpg. If I switch back to my BFG A/T I will get another 1-2 mpg back as well.

Hummmmm...I don't get anything near those numbers. I average 14.5 with 80% of my driving in-town. I also run 285/70...what are you using for the "adjusted for tire size" numbers???

As far as my experience with the TRD Supercharger, I could not be more happy. I had the dealer install the S/C along with a TRD Cold Air Intake and TRD exhaust all at the same time and love it. IMHO that's the way Toyota should have built it in the first place. That, or have a small V8 option. Either way, I can tow my boat (not a yacht -- an 18.5' fish-n-ski) with no problem. When I first lifted my truck and put the 285s on it the 'ole Taco was working hard pulling the boat. Now, no sweat.

Oh yeah...and the S/C whine gives me a boner. Just sayin'... :D

the other thing to consider besides warranty when choosing which supercharger to go with is what transmission you have on your truck...The autos tend to spend most of their time with the engine RPM < 3k during average daily driving so you really wont be spinning it up much at all if you have the URD, while the TRD blower starts making power around 2k. If you have an auto, the TRD seems like a much more usable choice since you'd be flooring it everywhere to feel much of the boost with a URD... And I do love the whine of the charger as well :D

Assumming you have the TRD SC installed on a 4wd truck with stock tires what do you think the 0-60 times would be? How much of an improvement over stock?

Still SLOW. Better than stock but not fast. My stock 5.7 tundra is still way faster than my sc Tacoma even before I put the bigger tires on the taco.

URD is selling there S/C kits. they got the UCON EMS out for it. a couple people already have one and its way better than the APR x-1. ill prolly upgrade my X-1 to it at somepoint.

I found my SC taco to be considerably faster than stock, but i am running a trd intake with it which makes a big difference.

HAHA I also called bullshit, so I did a quick check and here is your answer from his other post:

    Toytec Ultimate Lift
I work at Silverwood Toyota and have stock on three Ultimate Kits for the 2005-2012 Toyota Tacoma with TSB add a leaf.

Two of them are with the red coils on the front, and one is with the silver front coils.

For these three kits, I am discounting them $200 and $10 off freight.

This applies to this kit only, and for the three I have in stock.

My name is Josh, and a number to reach me at is 780-808-8801 or toll free at 1-877-244-2130

This is a limited time offer, once these three are gone, the offer is over.
