V8 taco transfer case possibilities?

    Hey I have a taco with a 4.7l v8 from an 04 gx470 which has the same engine and similar transmission(a750f) as the newer (07+) tundras and 4-runners. My question is which toyota transfer cases will work on it and just bolt on without having to get an adapter. I've heard the v6 4runner as well as fj cruiser should work but that concerns me because idk how well it will hold up on a v8 transmission. I'm currently using the transfer case from the gx470 but it is awd just like the v8 4-runner, but I want a transfer case that has both 2&4wd. Anyone got any advice on what my options are?
