I'm new to this whole thing, but I think in the Spring I'd like to see how many people want to run down to Hatteras for the day or something.

Yep, we went to the right and it's a scratcher . One good, tight hill climb in the beginning but then narrows with S turns. We took on some other spots within the main trail that I peeped the jeeps f'n with. Good stuff...

So are these trails legit? No cops hassling you?

Myself and a couple others that have dual-sports/enduros will ride over to Dam Neck and hit those trails on occasion, but you never feel completely comfortable back there because everyone's so freakin uptight around here.

Oh yes in the winter. I just picked up a nice wetsuit. I paddled out yesterday wearing it and I was SWEATING the whole time in the water. The waves are so much better in the winter as well.

Winter waves are better fer sher but man I'm not as tolerant to the cold water as I used to be.
