Howdy all, I'll be in town Columbus Day weekend and looking to do some surf fishing with friends from VA Beach. What's the nearest decent place to surf fish that I can bring my Taco onto the beach?

    Thanks!

I mean MD Tacomas is stickied in North East. Also, it still snows here. I feel like that makes it northish, right? We were among the 13 original colonies too, upper half even!

We are technically southern. South of the Mason Dixon line. But Southerners don’t accept us and neither do Northerners. Sweet tea availability is hit or miss too. I guess that’s why we are considered the Mid-Atlantic.

Also, to answer the original question: Assateague and Chincoteague

We are technically southwest. You see, Delaware is neither north nor south of the Mason Dixon line; the Mason Dixon Line runs along Maryland's northern border, then drops down to separate Delaware and Maryland. So since Delaware is actually EAST of the Mason Dixon line, Maryland is WEST of the north/south divide yet EAST of the Mid West.

So living in Elkton, I am North of Northeast, MD which is in north eastsrn Maryland, a Mid-Atlantic southern East-midwest which exists both north and south of the national capitol, north of Virginia and somehow still south of Delaware.

    ...

    :notsure:
