I just recently purchased Tacomedics truck and have already let the mod bug get to me lol just wanted to introduce myself to the northern California section and see if theres any monthly meets, local trails and or locals who would be interested in doing something like that... glad to be part of the taco community and look forward to meeting some of the locals soon!

im in vacaville, usually Jeff has some mod days and there is a good group in Sac that wheel often.

 

Dan, I'm on Travis AFB as well. Ive done some wrenching in the past and can give you a hand if you need one. Kind of limited with my free time right now but I'm also always up for getting out and about.

 

Best advice is, STAY OFF OF TW. Otherwise, Welcome to TW, your wallet will hate you shortly .

Yeah I try to have a mod day at my house every few months as a meet and greet and for people to get shit done on their trucks theyve been meaning to do for a while, or dont know how to do.

Only had the truck for a week, so I haven't started modding or much of anything yet but definitely want to get out and about this summer and have fun.

 

@D.Mathys @VolcomTacoma @LTDSC @Bounty Hunter sorry just checked back in on this thread and noticed it got some responses lol looking forward to getting out on some trails soon! not really into the whole rock crawling thing since its my daily driver and i just paid $40K i'd like to keep her in one piece but that doesn't mean some pin stripes and dirt is off the table... i had a raptor previously and we hit the trails once a month just to explore and have some fun but i haven't really found anything close from here to sac as most fun trails seem to be far away at least 2-3 hours which makes it a little more difficult to just pack up and hit the trails for an afternoon/evening. please let me know the next meet and great and i would love to hang out or maybe we could go do something fun, if anyone likes dave and busters or golfing etc i'm always down to do that (as long as the wife approves lol) been consistently working on the truck and even though i've only had her for a couple months i've been keeping the mods going fairly steady... hope to meet some TW members soon as this whole not getting out on the trails has been kind of depressing as of late lol

 

Hey Dan! We're heading to Pismo July 22-24th if you'd like to come down and hit some sand, otherwise I think theres a few random runs in the next few weeks. Im thinking on a mod day in august followed by a hollister camping trip if I've got a free weekend

I'm not sure about the weekend of the 22nd but the mod day in August sounds like it would be fun! i'll have to buy something just for the occassion lol i'll be gone from 3-15 August so anytime after that would be great to meet up and BBQ or what not... my next thing i want is a CBI bumper and they have a 3-4 week lead time so i'll probably find something smaller or just hang out lol

I was so lazy, I didn't run, workout, or do anything aside from a training class today... Waffles for dinner because I didn't want to cook lol
