so i have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma 2.7l i had my motor rebuilt and have almost everything back together but i have a couple vacuum lines that i have no idea where they would connect to. one of them is a "breather/ vent hoes" that comes off of the charcoal canister and from what i have read it just goes down to the frame and does not connect to anything is that correct? the other two lines are in the middle of the Intake manifold connected to a sensor/valve type thing. one of the hoses is shorter than the other and i have no clue where they would go since most of my vacuum lines are hooked up. any ideas where they might go? Bellow are some pictures of the parts i am talking about.

I believe the vacuum switch in the first picture is part of the EGR system. One vacuum hose should go to the vacuum modulator or the EGR valve itself. Do you have a vacuum diagram on the underside of the hood? It should show where the vacuum lines go.

For the first pic, IIRC, on line should connect to one of the ports on top of the Throttle body and the other connects to one of the EGR components. The black one with the green sticker on the top of it. Try googling for images of a stock 3rz motor to help you out

    Clean motor BTW. Looks sweet!

Once you add the second part of the intake (throttle body, etc.), you will see the EGR valve and vacuum valve (round). Those two lines will connect there at different points (one directly to it, the other connects to a "Tee").

One of the Lines goes to the Plastic Vacuum Tee that you can see next to my finger. That is connected to the EGR Valve (top) and the EGR vacuum Solenoid.

The other connects to the Throttle Body. They are two different lengths, so it is hard to mess it up.
