I don’t see the bed rails on the Vagabond website. How do you purchase these?

Can you post a photo of the inside above the tail light? I'm wondering if the Relentless need modification like the other ones when using some bed stiffeners...

I dropped a whole bunch of photos and nerdy stuff about my electrical build on my build thread.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/pragmatic-overland-build-vo-drifter.638732/

Here are a couple of photos. I built the system to be removable, and to not have anything mounted to the Drifter directly.20.jpg

The electrical panel mounts to the back of my removable bench seats.
    22.jpg

The battery (2x Valance batteries @ 87Ah) sits directly behind the electrical panel.

And I talked about the insulation helping us the other day when it was cold out. It helped out again today, but the other way around this time

Good info on the insulation...what's that blue thing on the left hand side while changing the little lady? Been over 20 years since I changed my daughters diaper and don't recall having one of those things...then or now.

Haha it’s a little spatula to spread the diaper cream. I made fun of my buddy who introduced it to me bc I thought it was boujee (before I had my daughter). I don’t mind applying diaper cream with my finger, but then I have to worry about wiping it when I put the diaper together, then the clothes so it doesnt get on either. Hence the spatula. It’s definitely not a necessity, but its nice to have. Anyone make fun of me for that ask yourself why you have a Drifter :D

Maybe I'll get my buddy one. He had his second daughter on the 1st. We didn't have those back in my day (I'm 48) LOL.

    Night...24? in the Drifter.

I am crossing through UT, CO, MT, WY, WA, and OR. I am currently in Grand Canyon heading towards Page, UT tomorrow.

If anyone would like to check out the Drifter and meet me on my route, let me know!

Here’s me stoked on life :bananadance:

Oh damn I'm down in Phoenix. But thanks for throwing it out there. I do want to see a drifter up close. Need to convince the wife that we need one.

Agree with @huruta; the gap between the canopy and truck is definitely an issue when raining. Found a few issues with the awning. The gap just mentioned, excessive pooling and thus potential stretching and tearing away of fabric from edges, the fabric seam weeps, and the space between the canopy attachment cover and the side of the truck. Sitting under it just now and the splash from rain running down through the gap hitting the drifter door and then the bumper is not good. I must address this. If I have to close the back end up during rain, that will be a big frustration . Guess this is why it is called “shadow” and not “rain” awning. Wish I knew how much it would be an issue.
Not happy having to put a bunch of effort into “fixing” such a pricey thing.
In sun, it’s great. Being freestanding and ease of deployment, a definite bonus. If I were to do it again, I’d make sure to install one that is tight to vehicle/topper. :annoyed:

Love this idea. Waiting to hear from Phil on when this summer I will take delivery, but I would be all about this either way.
