Finally added a light! Goal was no wiring, aim-able, and cheap. Oh and its magnetic, so you can remove it and use it as a light wand.

I put the link in the post. It's not an insanely bright light, but enough. You can also get the remote version too.

For anyone who has wrapped their drifter - how much did you pay? Trying to get a ballpark idea. Thanks!

Had a Eezi-Awn axe mount laying around from when I sold my 4runner years ago. The FR doors are so sturdy and heavy duty I decided to mount the axe to them. Used the existing bolts and nuts from the FR doors. I use the axe alot during camping. Glad to have a dedicated spot for it now.

No issues with the struts either opening the doors on their own.

Good! I have a buddy who almost lost a finger to an exposed axe end. That'd be lame!

20210223_152433.jpg 20210216_172026.jpg Base plate and bed sealing done! Really hoping that this inspires the wedge camper gods to speed up my camper due date.

Half inch poly-insulation with half inch Baltic birch on top with sheet vinyl flooring on top. Bolstered the tailgate edge with wood instead of the insulation. Figured it's a high wear area. Going to add one of those metal stair edge protectors to the entrance at some point.

I was nervous about the half inch plywood not feeling solid. But it feels good and saves weight!

    Ordered my 80/20.

Can anyone share links to any recommended cabinet latches and hinges similar to GooseGear?

Also any links to ABS sheets for the side panels?

    Thanks

Solid idea with the plywood only in the back where most of the use is. I called around and one specialty lumber yard finally found a piece of 3/4” birch that would work as a single piece in a long bed but it was spendy!
Do you have plans for any sorts of cabinets or fridge tie downs in the back? That is my major concern with not having a solid baseplate in the back. I have plans for a battery/electrical locker as well as fridge tie downs. Not sure about cabinets elsewhere so the partial baseplate may work!
