@Squeaky Penguin made a pretty nice swingout for his cans and not much else. Can you post a photo here, Brett?

I have about given up. Now I am just trying to find an actual custom fabricator that will build me what I want on that front. I know it can be done b/c I have seen it, but no one wants to do custom work anymore.

No, it does the job, especially for the price, but it was always a temporary solution until I got some sort of rear bumper that did the same thing. It's rock solid and has never come loose once, but it does contribute to the bouncing, especially on concrete seams like you mentioned. The truck is always a work in progress, that is for sure.

What about Bruteforcefab? He has an adjustable height tire carrier, which also means that you might be able to ask him for a different attachment there?

Yup. I just want a swingout with a 2" receiver for a bike rack and a fold down table and now that I think of it, yeah a spot for propane.

Could easily add a hitch for a bike rack too. Had one on my other truck and it worked well.

I am hoping I can achieve this with a stripped down Rigd UltraSwing without the tire carrier. Will post some pics after I get it setup.

I've been running this rack for 2 years and it's been pretty solid. You could build whatever rack you want to mount to the hitch extender. Or, you could even attach a rack directly to the swing arm. It's definitely not as robust as some of the options discussed above but it carries gear and bikes great, doesn't rattle, and is easy to remove. At the time, it was about $500 worth of parts. I have since rebuilt my fridge slideout to include a cooking drawer. I makes for a nice little galley kitchen with the boxes opened up past 90*.

The Denver, CO REI has a MegaMat 10 LW+ (Same one that a few of us use) in the garage sale room. It’s pumped up and has been holding air and looks to be in as new condition.

    $228.83 is their price.

I can help facilitate if necessary, but keep in mind, it's not the smallest package to ship, so you may be better off buying a new one on sale with free shipping.

I've been trying out the Hest, but I still have this mattress. I use it for ground camping *GASP* in a 2/3-person ground tent but I plan to put this back in during winter time since it seems to be a bit more comfortable in the 20-degree F temps than the Hest. At least without a heater.

The thing with REI is their return policy is so liberal most of the stuff in garage sale is perfectly good and the customer just decided to 'borrow' the item once and get their $$$ back.

I like how the reason is 'too firm' on the tag. One of the great things about the Expeds is the little toggle that lets you adjust the firmness down while laying on it. I love mine and if I was closer to Denver it would be worth checking out to save some coin!

Vagabond is no longer affiliated with or represented on TW. Got gripes? Please reach out to the manufacturer/company directly as they will not respond here. It sucks but it is what it is. We will keep the thread locked so others can see the shitshow but we’re shutting this show down.

Hey guys I did a thing! :oldglory:

This thread is back open for discussion to continue to post abut your Drifter build out.
It's now in the BAMF vendor section.

Anyone that's sour about the whole VB situation and want's to promote BAMF, If you don't already know were now going to be making these and I will be making Stainless Steel BAMF drifter logos free of charge to all of the current drifter owners.

Any questions/concerns I'm always a PM or email away. And the best part I'll actually reply back

    Welcome back!
