For those that have been using your Drifter with windoors. How well do the seals keep out the dust, rain and snow? Perhaps someone has been in windy conditions and can let us know how the seal hold up.

The windoors are the last place I would look for leaking

^^ This. No problems at all.
And you can always adjust the latches to pull the actual windoor in, compressing the seal more.

Mounted a second house fuse box to a bed cubby, making use of an extra panel I had laying around (thanks Phil).

Yea I finally “finished” my electrical a couple weeks ago. It was clean in my head, but then put it all together and realized that it was messy and now I just want a box over all of it lol. Oh well, we’ll see how long this configuration lasts.

    Looks pretty clean to me!
But I get what you're saying. There's a reason builders always hide the electrical.

That’s exactly how mine went except I did have a box. Gotta love mid install configuration changes lolD70008FA-A5DD-4B43-A6B0-4718BCE6546F.jpg

could always do a DIY bussman box. its cleaner though it would stick out further from the wall since all the wires come in/out of the back of it. or just make a cover out of a sheet of pvc

I was thinking it was the wiring for a
Flux capacitor but i think tou hit the nail on the head with wht it is for. Well done @MJonaGS32 do you plan to patent tour design? ;)

Can my 65amp battery handle a flux capacitor? I want one. I'll take a delorean circa 1987 too while I'm at it.

Haha yea it looks more intimidating than what it is. The relays are labeled, so no mystery what they're for ;)

Nice JMona! You have a lot of lights. I bet you love it at night. Lights on our vanagon sucked (more a user centered problem than a vanagon problem) and I'm so looking forward to seeing at night in the Drifter and having a charge more broadly with an auxiliary battery that actually works.

Do you think you could sleep in stealth mode on top of the benches if you had to? If the top wasn't popped?

    haha thats a new one.

Yes I have a bunch of lights on camper haha. The reverse/rear lights are perfect when cooking dinner on the swingout table. Two sets of lights inside the Drifter - bottom/living area and top/sleeping area. Also have dust lights and 3rd brake light out back on the top lid. And then theres the flood lights (left and right) and LED bar - all on the overhang portion that I still have to wire. Just picked this up to help me run the wires for those 3 lights inside.
