Any body know what the ARB Part # is for the Toyota Hi-Lux 1200 lb load springs that work on the 3rd Gen Tacoma?

Thank you! Same here, except I have the OME Dakar 600 lb springs already but anticipate needing an up grade with Drifter on & all my gear loaded ~ 400 lbs + Drifter. Can't wait for NWOR to pick it up.

What the benefit putting on the EL091R OME hilux springs over lets say Deaver? Looks like these will work on the 2nd gen Tacoma as well. 3rd and 2nd gen have same part numbers for OME Leaf Springs Tacoma's.

I actually like my OME leafs, I spent a good about of work making these whisper quiet.

Where would someone purchase the EL091R Hilux leafs?

They should both do the same thing, support the weight and not sag. I'm no expert so I can't comment much but I did consult with others that know more than me and this was just an easy (to be installed) upgrade from my 96r. I think you can go to an ome vendor and request them but I got mine from jon@mule

    Exactly!

Did you end up installing your Deavers you picked up a couple weeks ago?

No benefit other then perhaps price....well at least for me up here in Canada. I think Deaver has more leaf springs per pack therefore likely more compliant under load. Buy Deaver's...made in USA!

The difference for us was the price. They were substantially cheaper than Deavers and sufficient for our weight needs. We got from from Mule Expeditions in Seattle who also did our install. Don't know the part number. I thought they were to 1600lbs, but I could be remembering wrong.

I was curious about all the dust. Would it have been possible to seal the bed better before installing the decked system? The cost and ease of the decked system is attractive but I don't want my stuff getting all dirty. Thanks

The Hilux springs will support about 1300 lbs and still maintain 40mm of lift. We stock both OME and Dobinson rear springs that will bolt into the Tacoma.

Wow don't check the thread for a couple of days and look what I've missed! All of these great ideas & builds keep pouting in, more Goose Gear pics, new heater options, fancy hollow bolts :) I can see the $$'s flying out of my wallet and my build hasn't even started yet :spending:

My biggest challenge is going to be getting enough the time off from work to make the LONG trek from MA to Vagabond for the install and still have enough time left to be able to stop along the way home and use the camper. :)
