First production run, fully loaded Drifter for sale. It is still attached to the truck, but will be off by this weekend(if the stars align).

    Location: Benicia CA

I am selling a Vagabond Outdoors Drifter. It’s an early production model w/ FrontRunner Wingdoors, overhead lighting, custom amber Galley lighting, ARB Awnings rear and passenger side, L trac w/Thule rack attachments, SuperBrite LED dust lights, motion LED lights mounted passenger and driver side above the inner side of the wingdoors, upgraded switch panel, Vinyl wrap exterior, Dometic Fantastic Fan, etc.

    $11,000.

    Installation can be arranged.

If you’ve been wanting a Drifter but didn’t want to wait in line, here is your chance. If you are waiting inline for a new Drifter, I will happily negotiate to acquire your spot(I require a Nomad now).

Right on man. Thanks. I hope it does. Just another step in the evolution of the TR00PR.

I’m a doofus. Of course my shortbed Drifter isn’t going to fit on your longbed. My brain has been occupied most of the day working on designing a Nomad longbed to fit on a shortbed chassis... o_O

How would a 2.7 handle this weight? Looking for validation here... :notsure:

I don’t think a 4cyl is an issue. I think the rear suspension is more of the issue. Also, I didn’t know that you could get a 4cyl in DCSB?

But, my truck is a hot mess of different modifications based upon my driving habits, preferred Offroad destinations and spending potential.

If you are serious about this, we can move over to private message for more in depth conversation.

I have had an AT Summit (a very similar camper to the drifter) on my 4cyl regular cab and I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s not so much the weight issue as it is other things. PM me if you are interested in a more detailed discussion about a camper on a 4 cyl, I have lots of thoughts on it.
