Yea, clearly people who use it are fools right? I mean there is no reason at all why anyone would wanna use plasti-dip. I mean, its not durable, reversible or anything...god what idiots we are

    runs away crying

FWIW...I put 7 coats on my rear bumper and it hasn't chipped or faded yet...and its been a year

Meh, I'm more of an all-in, do it once and never have to redo it kind of guy. My lower valance got chewed up by brush actually removing some of the factory paint so I didn't think plasti-dip would hold up well enough if I plowed through something similar again. I went with bed liner instead, minimal prep, nice texture finish, I'm a happy camper :D

There's nothing wrong with plasti-dip, it's actually got some really nice attributes (reversible as you mentioned), I just don't think it's the solution to all your painting needs that people seem to think that it is.

You can stop crying now

I used Plasti-derp on mine and it has held up just fine for nearly a year so far..might go with some vinyl or actual paint in the future if it ever starts to come off tho.

holy cow look at those runs! light coats my friend. Spray a little then put the can down and wait a few minutes then another light coat just keep it slow and steady so the paint doesnt start to drip down ur bumper.
