Valentines day blows!!

I hate Valentine's Day. Makes me feel even sadder, and lonelier than usual...

not buying anything for the fiance for vday...i'm cooking dinner and having lunch with her seeing that tomorrow is my day off.

 

I've never really celebrated V-day. It's just a Hallmark holiday to get you spend money. It's pretty pathetic if you think about it. I mean, a day where you show your loved one that you love them? Shouldn't that be everyday?

The most I ever do is send the chick, that i'm with at the time, a text.

My best v-day present was a Honda fleece and hershey cheesecake kisses :drools: It was AWESOME!

The guy i'm talking to sent me a "happy v day" text at 12:01 lol and then bought me a plane ticket to GA to go with him to pick up his new Audi. So now I get to drive a new Audi half way back home! I'm stoked lol

I'm easy to please... I use to do things back when I was with my now ex husband. He didn't seem amused.. hell most of the time (other than honda fleece) his gifts were last min and he made me tell him what I wanted. So not fun..

Woman just like to feel loved. Doesn't have to be expensive or your normal flowers and a card.

I got lucky. My wife isn't a material person so anything I do for her is just icing on the cake and it actuall makes me enjoy doing things for her and with her. She is great. But yes valentines day is overrated for sure! Lol

Road goes both ways. Situations are always different. Maybe they were both miserable but she didn't want to pay for the divorce?

Some people just don't do well married. My ex husband and I get along much better now! We were best friends while dating - once we got married we did NOTHING! Well he played xbox... Couldn't get him to do anything else. But he couldn't get me to get naked after a while either. I got tired of giving and not receiving - gets old quickly.

But by god i'm INSANELY happy now! lol (I filed for the divorce - paid for it - let him keep everything except my bed, car, and a tv.. I even took the smallest tv)

Don't think many "deserve" a divorce. It just happens and in most cases is the best for both parties. No one is innocent of all actions that happened within the marriage!
