sliders are comin along good man - thanks.

Here is the one-piece conversion I was talking about. I will probably go with the Engage LT kit because it is the widest (4" wider per side). It's still a long ways out, but we'll see.

Here are some pics of the Fiberwerx one-piece and bedsides. I would like a front bumper like this one in the pic but winch compatable. The rear would be something like this too but hopefully look a lot cleaner.

So update on some of the random shit i've done. Replaced steering rack and a couple ball joints, then found out when I went to get an alignment that my lower A arm bushings were shot :censored: But I was able to buy a used pair from a buddy for 25 with good bushings :woot:
THEN I had a short in my tail lights :frusty:, when through a lot of wiring, fixed lots of little nicks and replaced bulbs yadayada. And for now that is all of the stupid shit...now to the fun shit :)

After a while blowing off finishing my paint job I decided to get back to work on it. And of course, I chose the day it starts raining after a week or two of nice weather. But maybe tomorrow or friday it will dry up enough to paint.

Took the bed off tonight and all the shit that i keep in my bed. I am gonna measure frame height tomorrow and see how much all my tools and gear actually drop the truck.

Best way to clear out all the little shit that collects in your bed :D even better then driving in reverse really fast and hitting the brakes

isn't actually all the bad taking a bed off by yourself...then again I had beer strength...and all the extra scratches I put on it will get covered up when I paint...and the one dent i did put in it I was able to pop out:facepalm:... Most people might actually want one or two people to lend a hand...

Definitely going to con some people into helping put it back on... You know who you are, hope you look forward to hearing from me in a day or two :D

Damn thing is dirty...gonna have to go to the car wash and use the pressure washer to clean off all the damn mud

Also cleaned the rust off the bumper and painted it, along with a nice coat on most of the frame.

This is a good pic of how I mounted the bumper. this is from the passenger side. it is the same on the drivers...this thing will rip the frame apart before I lose my bumper

    Thank ya :)

There are a few runs, it is definitely not the best paint job ever, but i am happy with it and once I throw a few more dents into the body paint really wont matter

eventually...I ran out of tape when I did the front half and now...I'm just lazy and want to be done with painting for a while. Feel like getting back to making armor for it.

Just bought a clamshell with 4.88's:woot::dancingbacon::yay::broccoli::taco:

I am only slightly stoked about this  Saved a shit ton of money buying a used one off a guy who had sas'd his rig. only 6k miles on the yukon gears :D gonna get an aussie locker for it and it will still end up a little cheaper then my previous plan of going to east coast gear supply for a complete clam without a locker

HOWEVER...I can only afford or barely afford this diff right now. So now I have to wait with it taunting me till I have enough money for an aussie and a rear 3rd which I will be getting through ECGS so that I have their awesome 5 year warranty on it.

Oh and pics will come in a while of my green truck all put back together
